Located in the City of Fayetteville, this project involves the renovation of two buildings. Building 1 (300A City Center Parkway), is the original Fayette County High School gymnasium that was built in the 1930s and has been revitalized into an event venue, The Dottie. The building was originally 8,000 sq ft. An addition included a caterer’s kitchen, green room, and bridal suite bringing the building to approximately 12,000 sq ft.
Building 2, Triumph Station, (300B City Center Parkway), formerly the Fayette County School Bus Maintenance Facility, is being reconstructed to include an event space and food hall. Businesses in this facility include Line Creek Brewery’s Bus Barn, Hog Pit BBQ (Suite 200), Scoops Ice Cream (Suite 300), corporate office for ‘Roundtown Collaborations, the Hummingbird Room, and Triumph Room event space. This second building will be 16,551 sq ft. Between the two buildings is a 12,000 sq ft “Beer Garden” (Biergarten) patio with a water feature. Both buildings in this project are an example of Adaptive Reuse which illustrates successfully repurposing buildings from their original need or service to meet present-day needs and services.
