Kaylee Ward brings a sharp financial mind and a deep commitment to stewardship to everything Southtree does. As CFO, she oversees the financial and strategic operations across all five of Southtree’s operating entities and more than thirty real estate development entities – spanning commercial construction, development, property management, and civil engineering. On any given day, Kaylee is deep in the numbers – managing the full scope of accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the portfolio, long range planning for real estate assets, and overseeing treasury functions. She also leads strategic planning efforts and maintains the internal controls that keep Southtree’s finances running cleanly and transparently. From the day-to-day books to long-term capital planning, she’s the person making sure every entity is financially sound and set up for growth.
Before joining Southtree, Kaylee spent nearly five years at Piedmont Newnan Hospital leading major strategic planning and construction projects, and prior to that worked in financial planning at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She launched her career at Ernst & Young, where she audited multi-billion dollar companies and built the rigorous foundation that informs her work today.
Kaylee holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, both from the University of Georgia.
